thurday was the day for D&D.
didn't brought tickets. cause by the time i wanted to, it's already sold out.
and miss maybelin needed a fashion consultant.
so called both huian and i to go over her house,
but in the end, i went alone cause it was too early for MISS YISHUN.
=)
and last minute, i was being asked to be her make-up artist too.
haha..

anyway, the day start with me waiting outside maybelin's house (as usual), waiting for her to get ready to go off to marine parade for some hair coloring stuff.
took quite sometime to find that place under the scorching sun, and finally i felt AIR-CON blowing towards me.
haha...

she being that excited to color her hair.

during the process of her coloring, i was like sitting beside her, waiting for the time to pass.
and luckily they brought some fashion magazines for me to read.
THEN.
one guy came over and ask if i wanted to cut my hair to something more funky and SHORTER.
the moment i heard the word, "SHORTER", i was like, no please.
then he took one mag and show me the hairstyle that he wish to cut for me.

nice right??
but it's real short can.
and it's like the picture seems to be tempting me to cut my hair again.
haha..

i just realized that i can't be tempted by TWO things.
CIGARETTES and HAIR-CUTTING.
wahaha..

DIGRESSION ASIDE.

she actually fall asleep while the person's busy coloring.
LOL.

and finally done!

rushed back to amk again.
and this woman actually forgot all about her ticket.
the most important thing to be brought to D&D can!

so once again, we're super duper late.
and she despeartely needed some eyebrow trimming.
so everything was like rushed in FAR EAST.
even her makeup was done in the toilet la.
so random.
haha...
huian and mongling came along too.
cause the initial plan was huian joining us for some clubbing session after D&D, while mongling's just there to see how pretty our maybelin can turn out to be.
lol.

and while waiting for her to get her eye-brow trimmed,
of cause there must be some photo-taking session of these people.
cause it's darn rare we'll see everyone decked in their best suits.

Finally reached Regent Hotel where the event was being held.
and of cause there's so many familiar faces.

seriously, i'm so proud to have her make-up done all my myself.
though at the wrong place with all of us standing, but who cares?

cause that was the first time i did the WHOLE SET of makeup on someone's face.
though still darn inexperienced, but i'm super glad alot of people saying that the makeup was nice.

the more i don't want to quit that job!

and so, we didn't buy any tickets as mentioned, and have to wait for the event to end for some post-event session.
so sat outside the hall, enjoying everything in the hotel.
with that big sofa for us to relax and do some people-watching.

oh ya.
weiqiang, jean and ah fong came down to support the dancers.
and becasue we always dance together, and all decked in our causal and hip hop clothes,
it's so rare to see them in office wear, especially wei qiang.
haha..

it's so unlike of him!
haha.
initially, he wanted to do the HIPHOP pose, but decided not to.
so he's like trying to look more like a businessman.
=)

but just sat there to have that aura.

huian brought a cake nearby, full of strawberry, and it's crust was duper hard.
so i gave it a miss.

was walking out of the hotel to send mongling to the bus stop,
i've got no choice but to carry that big paper bag that's full of maybelin's stuff.
and mongling thinks that i really look like one make up artist la.
haha.
cause i told her, normally makeup artistes are dressed all black, so that they wont steal the limelight from the others.

didn't want to slack all the way inside the hotel, so both hui an and i roam around first.

initially i saw him already, so i thought he might have forgotten him.
but in the end he was like, "GUCCI? you are here too!?!?"

and as usual, we always call each other, "cherilyn's cousin" & "cherilyn's friend" when all along we knew one another's names.
=)

and huian actually thought it's was just on display and was surprised that it's actually working!

i'm like some loanshark trying to call those people who borrow money from me.
